The attached video is hilarious. It features New England Patriots head coach, Bill Belichick, and Notre Dame head coach, Charlie Weis, performing back-up to Bon Jovi at a fundraiser given by Charlie Weis.

New England Patriots fans are probably waking up this morning wondering how a nine win team like Arizona can be in the Super Bowl. Their performance in New England was dreadful. The Cardinals didn’t show up for that game and packed it in early. The team that beat the Philadelphia, however, was not the same [...]

The attached post by Adam Shefter makes an interesting argument that former Pittsburgh Steelers head coach, Bill Cowher, may eventually be coaching the Kansas City Chiefs in 2010. The franchise recently hired Scott Pioli away from the New England Patriots to become their GM. Apparently Pioli and Cowher are pretty good friends.
Current coach, Herman Edwards, [...]

Long-time New England Patriots personnel man has agreed to terms with the Kansas City Chiefs to become their General Manager in charge of football operations. One of his first moves as the new GM will probably be firing head coach Herman Edwards and finding a replacement.
Pioli’s run with Bill Belichick produced three Super Bowl championships [...]

Readers of this blog know how I feel about the NFL overtime rule. It stinks! My concern about the sudden death system where the first team that scores is the winner is that it’s not fair to both teams. Under the current system, a coin toss is used to determine which team receives the ball first. If [...]

It can be argued that the New England Patriots did not qualify for the playoffs with an 11-5 record because they lost a coin toss. Yes, they gave up an inexcusable third and 15 in that overtime lossa gainst the Jets and the Patriots made Brett Favre look like he’s the same player he was [...]

How did Brett Favre qualify for this year’s Pro Bowl. People who voted for the New York Jets quarterback should be ashamed of themselves. He is overrated and several quarterbacks including Phillip Rivers, Chad Pennington, and Matt Cassel had better seasons than this guy.
More often than not, Bret Favre has let his teams down when [...]

New England Patriots quarterback, Matt Cassel, is getting better and better every week. He’s getting sacked fewer times and his stats are eerily similar to Tom Brady’s first year production. As the attached post from Fox says, nobody is saying he’s going to be Tom Brady, but maybe with Bill Belichick’s coaching, they might be able [...]
